Celine Dion didn’t waste time huh? She already has a tour setup even before her gig in Las Vegas ended. If you want to see her, where do you normally go for your concert Tickets? I normally just go to the web to purchase them because I hate falling in line if the concert is really hot just like this one. I would rather purchase Concert Tickets online as I don’t like falling in line or missing the chance of watching a concert just because the tickets sold out.

I am one who purchases anything I can online just because it is more convenient, and less hassle to deal with. If I’m looking to purchase gifts, I don’t usually go to the mall these days. It’s a waste of time for me. I would rather go online and purchase items that may be delivered directly to the homes of the people that I buy gifts for. I don’t even have to drive.

Just recently, my buddy was turning thirty and I know that he loves sports. So, I just went online, searched for Sports Tickets and voila - there are my choices. Buying tickets online is the way to go if you ask me. You save time and money. Convenience is what I believe in. And buying tickets online provide me that convenience and the savings that I always enjoy.

This is a paid post.

I don’t know - after my day at work today, I just want to get away and fly somewhere. I need to recharge. I am in for some highly needed R & R. What would you suggest? I am really into beaches and the sun. I don’t like these depressing cold and wet weather. I need to be frolicking in the sand, drinking margaritas and wreaking of coconut scented sunblock.

Just checking out online, I found
St Thomas Villa Rental properties where I could get away. The view alone tells me that I am going to be so refreshed that when I come back, I will be more productive that I’ve ever been. They have luxury condos for rent. Imagine luxury condos for a second. They provide you everything you need for a luxury vacation. Imagine me waking up at around 11:00 in the morning after a nice night out. Then, I could stay in the room for a couple of hours watching Oprah on their flat screen TVs. Or, I could be blogging just like I am now and telling you what a grand time I’m having in St Thomas. Or, I may just want to go outside and lay out in the sun. It’s my choice – no deadlines, no bosses - - just me.

So tell me - should I go?

I went to work this morning thinking that I would be able to accomplish a lot.  I had so many things lined up to be done today and while in the shower, I already organized what I was going to accomplish first and then the next and the next.  All of that went waste.  I got nothing done today.

I was pulled into all sorts of meetings today that I shouldn’t even be involved with!  But, the team-player that I am, I buckled.  Next time, I should just stand my ground and say NO!  Sheesh.  It felt like my whole day was wasted without accomplishing anything.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.  Sorry - just venting.

Have you guys played paintball? Have you ever thought about it? I don’t care if you’re a man or a woman or even in between, the game of paintball is as jumping off an airplane. Well, maybe not that exciting but if you ever feel the adrenaline rush while playing, it could be an experience of a lifetime.

While living in Baltimore, I got to play paintball with my co-workers. We organized a weekend trip for anyone who’s interested. Men and women signed up to my surprise. I had no idea what I was getting into until we got to the site. They pair your team with another team who’s playing on the same day. Guess who we got? A team of military men in fatigues and combat armor. What? I thought we were playing for fun!

These people must have gotten discount paintball guns off the internet or some sort because they had their own paintball guns with them. The only support and protection we were wearing were the goggles and a breast support. When we got on the field, I thought I already died. These guys were ruthless. They got the members of my team one by one in a matter of minutes. I got hit in the head right above my right eye. Sheesh. I was running and shooting like mad yet I didn’t get any one. Not one. It was so exciting that I almost peed my pants. It’s like being in the front line.

The one that could have saved us was a girl. She stayed behind her cover the whole time. But when we were all done, she was the only one left and we were watching these guys surround her. It was actually hilarious when she went berzerk and started screaming at the same time shooting at every direction knowing she was going to get hit anytime anyway. We had a blast! I’m just sorry that we never did it again. I would do it again if I get a chance. And this time, we will show up in full gear just to intimidate the other teams. At least we’ll be ahead even before we start! If you haven’t tried it - I suggest you do. You will not regret it.

It’s been over for almost six months now.  I don’t know if I’m feeling lonely or feeling guilty but the reason for my breakup with my boyfriend was something minimal.  It’s not like I cheated or he cheated.  There’s not even a third party.  I just feel that I didn’t give enough to the relationship that pushed my ex-boyfriend away.

I look back and I wondered - was I fair?  Did I put my friends over and above him?  Maybe I did.  Ever since we got together, I laid down the rules.  My friends supported my for almost six years while I was without a relationship.  They were there when I needed something.  Be it a ride to the airport or just companionship when I felt lonely.   They made me laugh and they made me cry.  But all the same, they became family to me.

The main argument that we always had was about my friends.  I was hanging out a little too much with them and whenever he’s here at my house, friends will drop by not giving us enough time with each other.  But I enjoyed the company of my friends.  It doesn’t necessarily mean I didn’t enjoy his company.    Over all, I may have missed the mark.  Maybe I should have told my friends to back off for a while…or I should have done it myself.

Needless to say, the milk is sour and I can’t do anything about it now.  Would I do the same with my next relationship?  I hope not.  That is if ever I go into another relationship.

I was out with my friends last night.  Went out to a lounge, had a couple of social drinks and then I headed back home.  On my way home, I somehow became emotional.  Not sure why.  All of a sudden, I thought about my mom.

You see, my mom passed away 12 years ago. ( Gosh, it’s been that long already? )  I never really had the chance to grieve.  I was in utter shock and to this day, I think I still have unrequited emotions.   I miss you mom!  I hope someday, I will be able to cry this out and let is all pour out.

Every year I do this and I am mostly successful.  The problem is I normally don’t allow enough time for me to get ready to be in time for mass.  I love going to mass and I normally use it as my quiet time to reflect about my life.   Sure, an hour may be a bit short but it is still time away from all the busy disturbances of life.

Tomorrow is Sunday again and I must go to bed early today so I can get up for mass.  I am planning to go to the morning mass.  The choir in the morning adds to my experience.  How about you?  Is going to church one of your resolutions this year?

I lived in California for two and a half years. There were only a few places for us to get lunch at the area we worked at by the airport. There were several Mexican places there and a couple of Deli’s but there’s one place that I love going every lunch time. They may have mastered the way of grilling chicken. I loved their grilled citrus-marinated chicken!

Who am I talking about? I’m telling you, if you ever travel west, you must definitely try El Pollo Loco. The best marinated chicken you’ll ever try. Actually, it has been a while and I have been craving for it.. nothing seems to beat flame-grilled chicken. YUMMMM!!

Well everyone - How’s your New Year’s resolutions going so far?  I have been faithful going to the gym at least three times a week, at 5:30 am !!!

I am still up for it and ready to continue until it becomes part of my routine.  I have also changed my diet.  I eat a little less now than I used to, trying to avoid second servings.
