My promise for 2008 – Go to mass every Sunday.
Every year I do this and I am mostly successful. The problem is I normally don’t allow enough time for me to get ready to be in time for mass. I love going to mass and I normally use it as my quiet time to reflect about my life. Sure, an hour may be a bit short but it is still time away from all the busy disturbances of life.
Tomorrow is Sunday again and I must go to bed early today so I can get up for mass. I am planning to go to the morning mass. The choir in the morning adds to my experience. How about you? Is going to church one of your resolutions this year?
