I’m not sure if you’ll find this hilarious - I did.

Published by gaychristians under Affiliates

I know you’ve received one of those spam email messages. “Do you want to grow your tool?” Maybe in a more explicit way than that. I get that all the time and sometimes I have to laugh. If people at work only knew what spam messages I get, they may suspect me of going to websites that are NSFW!

Then, I came accross a website called Enlargement World Reviews. It was hysterical. I didn’t know that such a site existed. They actually review the products which claims to have the best possible way of extending one’s genitals. Just imagine - a site totally dedicated to reviewing tools that are so weird I had to chuckle.

What if you are choset to perform one of the extender review that they are conducting? Would you have to wear it to know that it worked? Do you have a before and after measurement? How do you prove that your review was satisfactory. You can’t just say, “Yo, that product works because it added a few inches to mine!” Who would want to know taht?

I thought receiving spam emails about male enhancement reviews was funny enough. Having a site reviewing other sites and products that offer the items are much more fun. You should take a look - some of those tools scare me. Apparently, there is a huge market for it so why not right? ;)

This is the second week I haven’t been able to go to church.

Published by gaychristians under Random Thoughts

Let me put it this way.  I haven’t been all that enthused to go to church during the last couple of weeks.  I’m not sure if I’m going through that slump or what but I always include it in my weekend plan - I just haven’t followed up on it.

I hope this goes away.  I really enjoy going to church and I feel that it is my duty to do so…specially this Lenten season.

Please do pray for me.  I need it.

Take care!

As a blogger, why do you need to learn about SEO?

Published by gaychristians under Random Thoughts

Everybody talks about it. If you are a blogger, and you are in it for the challenge, you have to read up on Search Engine Optimization. Why? because this is how you maximize your page visits and if you do become successful at it, opportunities can come your way in proportions you cannot even fathom.

I remember when I started blogging, I thought I could never get my blogs off the ground. I started with five blogs and within six months, they were ranked at PR 3 and one with PR 4. All because I read up on Search Engine Optimization.

According to Wikipedia, “Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (”organic” or “algorithmic”) search results for targeted keywords. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it “ranks”, the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.”

If you want to become a successful blogger, you have to be able to increase traffic and viewership to your blog. It’s like renting a prime spot at the mall. If your area receives a lot of traffic, you get more business. Think about it?

What a prayer. These are the ones I like.

Published by gaychristians under You are Blessed

I rarely read chain emails and most especially I don’t forward them. The ones that have the note underneath that states, “If you don’t forward this within the next….” are the ones that drive me up the wall. Why say that you are going to be blessed when a curse follows?

That is why it was it was refreshing to read this one from one of the blogs I visit, and I would like to share it with all of you. I wish blessings to you and your families. And no, it won’t give you bad luck if you don’t blog about it. ;)

Believe it and you shall be blessed.

The problem with many of us is that we don’t believe that God will open a window and pour out blessings that we won’t have room to receive them. I dare anyone to try God. He is true to His word. God cannot lie and His promises are sure.

Three things will happen to you this coming week:

(1) You will find favour with someone you don’t expect;
(2) You will be too relevant to be ignored;
(3) You will encounter God and you will never remain the same again.

My prayer for you today:

The eyes beholding this message shall not behold evil, the hands that will send this message to others shall not labor in vain, the mouth saying Amen to this prayer shall laugh forever. Remain in God’s love as you send this prayer to everybody on your list. Have a lovely journey of life! Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will never fail you because He is AWESOME !

If you truly need a blessing, continue reading this email:

Heavenly Father, most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to you that you abundantly bless my family and me. I know that you recognize, that a family is more than just a mother, father, sister, brother, husband and wife, but all who believe and trust in you. Father, I send up a prayer request for blessings for not only the person who sent this to me, but for me and all that I have forwarded this message on to. And that the power of joined prayer by those who believe and trust in you is more powerful than anything. I thank you in advance for your blessings.

Father God, deliver the person reading this right now from debt and debts burdens. Release your Godly wisdom that I may be a good steward over all that You have given me Father, for I know how wonderful and mighty you are and how if we just obey you and walk In your word and have the faith of a mustard seed that you will pour out blessings. I thank you now Lord for the recent blessings I have received and for the blessings yet to come because I know you are not done with me yet. In Jesus name, I pray.

Amen.

I hope you had a nice weekend. Relax and get ready for another blessed week.

Pax et bonum.

Do not come forward if you are not sincere.

Published by gaychristians under Random Thoughts

That was what the missal had written all over it when I went to Mass on Ash Wednesday.

It has become a tradition among co-workers to break out for lunch during Ash Wednesday and go to Mass. There are several Italians and Irish at work who are faithful to this tradition and it makes me glad that they remind me every time.

The message on the missal stated, “Taking the sign of repentance by way of ashes on your forehead must come from your heart. If not, it is simply a superstition which mocks God. Do not come forward if you are not sincere.”

I was taken aback. I had to re-think what I was going to do.

Then, the mass started. The first reading came from the Book of Joel, Chapter 2.

12 Now, therefore, saith the Lord. Be converted to me with all your heart, in fasting, and in weeping, and mourning.
13 And rend your hearts, and not your garments and turn to the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, patient and rich in mercy, and ready to repent of the evil.

The message is the same. Either I have to be true to the sign that I am about to receive or simply do it without any substance behind it.

The priest asked during his homily if any of us remember a time during any Lenten Season when we can say, “The Lenten Season of the year XXXX was a life-changing event for me.” He added, “If you can’t think of one, I pray that this Lenten Season be just that.” Those were not his exact words but his message was delivered to that effect.

I want to change. I want to become a better person. If I come forward to have the priest put the sign of the cross on my forehead, I am definitely making a commitment to do whatever I can to change the things in my life that are not worthy. I sat on my seat thinking if I would be able to do it.

As the people fell in line to take the ashes, I stood up and followed. I am going to do my best to make this year’s Lenten Season, the year that I would remember and say, “The Lenten Season of 2008 was a life-changing event for me.” I pray that I can become a better person. I pray that I can be more forgiving, unselfish, and have more willingness to help others from my own heart.

May you all experience the same during this Lenten Season. God bless.
