I am training with a trainer at the gym now.  You see, my trainer and I have become friends since I started training with him.  He stops by the house once in a while and we would talk for hours.  He’s a Christian as well and although I don’t think he knows that I’m gay, he knows I’m a Christian.

We share bible verses and life experiences.  It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that I can still share my faith with a fellow Christian.   He knows how I feel about the laws and the dogmas of the Catholic Church.  He knows how much the Church means to me.

Today, while we were working out, he remembered to share something with me.  He told me to check out a protein called “Laminin”.  What?!  Laminin?  Better yet, he told me to check out Youtube and search for Laminin.  It’s about a protein molecule.   I thought it would be something that would help me gain muscle.  He didn’t tell me.  He just told me to check it out.

I was so amazed at the video.  It’s only 8 minutes long yet I was so glad that he shared it with me.  I want to share it with all of you as well.

I had a fun weekend in Atlantic City meeting friends of mine from my home town back in the Philippines. I couldn’t believe that changes that have happened in our lives for the past 20 years. It’s amazing how we turn out to be something much different than what we were. We talked about the past, how we were, how we dressed back then. One of our friends was someone who would think at that time, won’t have a good future just because the odds are against her. Looking at her now, I wouldn’t have imagined that she would turn out to be a successful Medical Technologist working at a hospital in New York, with a nice house and a brand new car. It simply tells us that if we have enough determination and a little bit of luck, we can make things happen in our lives.

From talking with them, we decided to round up the group. We have several members of the group whom we lost in touch with. I suggested to them to try a people finder service where you could search for people whom you lost in touch with.
