I feel that my very first vote ever really counted.
It was just announced that Barack Obama is our President-Elect - the 44th President of the United States. I have never voted for a President before and I am so glad to have participated in this historic event.
Yes, I voted for Barack Obama. He gave me the hope that I am looking for. A time for peace, a time for change. I am ecstatic right now and I am at a loss for words. Congratulations Barack Obama!! Oh, I’m sorry… congratulations Mr. President.
