Let the children come unto me…
It was said, “Unless you behave like these children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
I somewhat thought I knew what that meant. In thinking about it now, I had to wonder what Jesus meant when He said that. First, I had to think about the traits of children.
- Loving unconditionally
- Forgiving ( a child can be upset at you at one moment and forget about the whole thing the next moment)
- Cheerful and Playful
- Relies on someone bigger than they are to take care of their needs
- Not doubtful
After thinking so, I realized – that’s what Jesus meant. I have to polish up my “child-like” traits. I don’t want to lose my chance of getting into heaven.
