You know how it is to find a mate right? It’s not easy for anyone. Either you meet them at a wedding (highly likely for straight people) or you meet them through friends. It’s hard enough to meet new people even with the people we know but even harder because our schedules are always busy and we seldomly have time to even take a nap, let alone date. And don’t get me wrong, gay dating is as difficult as straight dating. They all have their complications and we usually end up with “I like him but he doesn’t like me or he likes me and I don’t like him”> Why is that?

Most recently, I have been considering signing up with a gay dating site where I could meet new people and maybe really get to know a person first before I jump into anything. I am no longer interested sex alone. I want great conversations, movie nights, dinner for two or just to stay at home and watch Brothers & Sisters or something like that. I simply want a companion whose company I enjoy. Of course, intimacy is very important as well.

But, when I check these sites, they normally charge an arm and a leg to become a member. I’m not talking about sites that offer porn and consider their site a dating site. That’s not what I call dating. I checked out several sites out there and I’m looking for free gay dating sites that are friendly and not porn-oriented. Has anyone had any experience in good gay dating sites? Would you please recommend it to me. I really think it’s time for me to start dating again. Even just for fun weekend trips and hanging out. That would be most ideal.

I had moments in my past where I could really feel the power of prayer.  I could go in my room, close my door, prostrate before God and pray.  I would feel God’s presence and know that He is listening to my every word.

There were times that I could play any Christian music and it will uplift my soul.  I could listen to Christian music for hours on end and feel the love of God envelope me.  Those were ecstatic moments and I miss it.
