I am glad for celebrities who are in the public eye and show their support for Marriage Equality. Those in show business support Gay Marriage simply because if you are in the industry, there is 100% chance that you will meet a gay person and that one of your closest friends will be gay.

Miley Cyrus recently got inked with the “equal sign” on her middle finger to show her support for Marriage Equality and posted a photo of it on Twitter with a note: All LOVE is equal. As young as she is, she understands that we are ALL equal and that we all should have the same rights as human beings.

I was studying Medical Technology while in college.  I had the love for Science and Math.  Besides, it was the course that my parents told me to take because as they say, “there is always going to be healthcare”.   A job is almost assured if you are in the medical field.

But, after a few years – I switched courses and ended up with a degree in Business Administration.  I enjoy it and I knew that business was my passion.

Yet, I have friends who have completed their degrees in Computer Science and also degrees in Fine Art.  I understand the people who took Fine Art wanting to switch to a new career in the medical field but Computer Science?

Yes folks.  My friends switched to a career in nursing.  They left their jobs only to go back to school and study nursing.  Now, they have all completed their studies (as second degrees) and are doing well.
