With so many choices today, which one would you prefer?

Published by at 11:55 am under Random Thoughts

I have had cable for years.  I have so many channels right now that I don’t even get to watch all of the shows I really want to watch because there just isn’t enough time to watch them all.  And since I am going to school, paying for cable and not able to watch the shows seems like I’m pouring cash down the drain.

I’ve switched from cable to direct tv once before and if you’re like me, I always go with the best deal.  Paying for cable TV isn’t cheap these days unless you get a great deal that is either valid for a year or two years.  It’s a good thing that we have choices now and not simply stuck with one company that will provide cable access.

Now, it all boils down to quality and price.  I like my HD channels today but every company seems to offer an HD option nowadays.  The DVR is a blessing as well since I get to record the shows that I want to watch and at times when I have time to sit and relax, I get to catch up on the series that I love.

I have been away from directtv for a while. Has there been any improvement to their service or any good offers from them lately? My deal with my current cable company just expired and the price I pay just doubled. I am looking for an alternative and I was wondering if you would suggest that I switch to dx3? Just asking. I have to make up my mind soon because with the way the economy is today, I have to cut costs anywhere I can.
