This is a bit controversial for me. With my friend’s brother-in-law recently dying from cancer, and Randy Pausch as well (the famous professor who became known for his “Last Lecture”) - it makes you wonder howcome many people get cancer these days. I know that there has been a lot of cancer cases in the past but it has hit home most recently because I know so many people now that has cancer. An actor in the Philippines died last month due to pancreatic cancer, Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer and so did Randy Pausch. What is going on?
There is a big thing happening right now that is getting much attention since cancer has affected many people close to our lives. There is a resveratrol forum online that discusses reservatrol’s effectiveness in curing cancer. It has already been speculated but there is this one rare occasion that reservatrol will be tested publicly. Members of the forum where this is being discussed are willing to provide a large supply of reservatrol to people who have less than four months to live and “mega-dosing” the cancer out of their body. The forum is filled with information including someone who has a dog that survived cancer using reservatrol. No one knows if the experiment will work at all but I am sure that there is a lot watching on what would happen to this experiment.

Okay, this may sound gross to some of you but I ran across this article on
CNNMoney and I thought it was an interesting. I was skimming through the finance section and was surprised to find out about stem cell development using the woman’s menstrual blood! Yes! It’s nothing painful, no embryos being damaged and it may be controversial but not as much as the embryonic stem cell research. The procedure will allow treatment to diseases later in life if the preserved stem cells from menstrual blood is collected and kept in a cryogenic type of storage for later use.

Men in uniforms are just that - men in uniforms. My next door neighbor is a cop and a very nice man. He always invites me to his parties at his home and really doesn’t care at all about me being gay and all.
One time, he showed up in uniform with his Blackhawk holster and man, I almost didn’t recognize him. He looked so respectable and so clean-cut! I must admit, I have a crush on him and because he is sooo nice (and so is his girlfriend), I have become really good friends with them.
I am having a party on the 18th of July and they already said they’re gonna come. I just wish he’d show up in uniform.

I don’t really care what religion you practice. It’s not about religion for me. It’s about love. It’s about God’s love. ” For whatever you do to the least of my brethren, that you do unto me.”
I have said many times before that my belief lies in one thing only. That God will judge me according to how I love my fellowmen. I cannot promise not to lie, not to be greedy and all that. That’s because I know that I will eventually (due to certain circumstances) do that whether consciously or subconsciously. What I want to concentrate on as I live my life is the question, “Have I done them right?”
That is why I am easily touched with stories about the display of love by people, by strangers. It’s the Good Samaritan story that touches me the most. There are no boundaries. It’s not religion, it’s not age, it’s not sexual preference. They are just there to help. Just visit the Zion Oil and Gas Website for example. I read this and it just gave me a good feeling. People working together as one.

Cops are the best. My neighbor is a COP and he’s way too awesome. His girlfriend and I get along really well and I hang out at their place all the time. He rarely wears a uniform but when he does, I told his girlfriend jokingly, “Keep him away from me!” Hahah!! We’re really good friends.
Actually at one time - I told him that I really like seeing him in his uniform around our neighborhood with his tactical belt and the works - making me feel safe. He just laughs! He’s really cool and I wish I have more neighbors like him - better yet, more people like him. He and his wife know and accept me being gay. They invite me to their parties all the time. It’s not uncommon anymore and people have become more accepting.
I wonder if he would give me his tactical belt so I can use it to accessorize?

No, not me. My friend visited me from Chicago two weeks ago. Well, he really didn’t visit me. His cousin passed and he was in the area for a few days. It was good to reconnect again since he moved to Chicago last year. He is out there to pursue his dreams - of being an Interior Designer. He recently graduated from the Arts Institute of Pennsylvania and he gave up everything to become the designer that he wants to be.
He asked me if I would go with him the next time he got a facial. I said I would and I wondered why he would want one. He’s always had acne problems in the past, not only on his face but on his back as well. I told him that since he lives in Chicago now, maybe he should check out places there that could help him.
Acne Chicago Dermatologists are available to him I’m sure. So, I went online and looked up a place where he could probably get some consulting done and possible therapy. We found this place that he vowed to check out when he goes back.
Lakeview dermatology is a leading dermatology clinic in the Chicago area specializing in laser acne treatment, hair removal treatment, Restylane treatment and other skin care treatments. We provide treatments to many skin conditions as well as cosmetic, medical and surgical treatments. Lakeview Dermatology is led by Dr. Eugene Mandrea and Dr. Steven Mandrea and located in Chicago, Illinois.
I told him to get his back checked out as well.

Ever heard of this? You can even get a burst of caffeine from snacks now. It’s no longer just coffee or tea, you can get a dose of your caffeine cravings with one of the newest ideas out in the market today. The product is called ENGOBI™. This could be good for me for afernoon snacks at work. Believe me, my job needs a boost! ;) Sometimes in the afternoon, I couldn’t keep my eyes open - feeling so worn out. This could be the trick that would do it.
I haven’t tried it yet but ENGOBI is doing a full blast advertisement all over. There are two flavors, Lemon Lift and Cinnamon Surge. They just started showing up at store shelves last month and it’s become a hit!
They are rockin’ your world with their Guitar Hero™. Join the “Don’t Be a Piano Hero” showdown to give caffeine-craving rockers the chance to win an Xbox 360™-enabled, customized Fender® Stratocaster, ENGOBI gear and other prizes. You can create a video of your own and join the contest. You can upload your vids at ENGOBI.com and get the chance to win an Xbox 360.
As part of the promo, the ENGOBI girls will be touring the coast, complete with a blog entry to tell you about the cities they visit and the people whom they meet. I can’t wait to try it and figure out what to do with myself afterwards. Haha! Just the caffeine boost I have been looking for.

Ask anyone and they will tell you that at one time or another, they have tried a diet to lose weight. Be it Atkins, Zone, Weight Watcher’s, Jenny Craig or whatever else that is out there - they have at least tried it once. Why? Becuase we want to look great. Specially with gay men, it is like a ‘must’ before summer that we are fit and toned.
Well, let me tell you about Generic Acomplia. It’s a drug that is mainly hailed as a miracle cure for obesity. If you noticed, I chose the word obesity because I want to make sure that you are not going to take this medicine just because you want to look great for the summer. The drug works on brain receptors to regulate your appetite and energy. It is good for people who are obese in order that they may regain their health. The generic name for the drug is Rimonabant and will cost you a little less than purchasing the brand name Generic Acomplia.
I took interest in the drug because it has been known to be a good anti-smoking drug. It is know to cut down nicotine cravings which eventually frees smokers and allow them to kick the habit. So it could work both ways for me! I can lose weight and quit smoking in the process. You only have to take it once a day, usually in the morning and if you miss the morning pill, you make take it when you remember it. It is cautioned however, not to double-up on missed doses as it may cause severe side-effects. It is a prescription medicine after all so you should consult with your doctor first before taking any drugs.
The program requires a lifestyle change. You don’t just take the pill and forget about it, then expect to have considerable weight loss or quit smoking. You must take charge of your life first in order for the drug to work. So, whenever you’re ready - ask your doctor about it.
