Okay – I have been out of the dating seen for four years. I really can’t get used to jumping right back into the scene and besides I’m still hanging on to what’s left of the relationship because of the non-closure issue. What do you do though? You need to meet people right? I am not about to jump to the next relationship and be a total ‘rebound’ disaster. I’m taking it slow and having fun in the meantime. It’s hard to let go of four years and nobody’s telling me to do so anyway.

You know what, here in the U.S., it’s hard to meet people. Why do you think dating sites are so popular here. You just can’t meet people because life is so busy and you do everything. You do the laundry, you clean your own house, you do the dishes, wash your car, shop for your groceries, cook – - whatever. These things tend to take so much time that coming home from work and cooking dinner takes you to 9:00 p.m. – - – by the time you eat and wash dishes, it’s time to go to bed?!

So, I discovered a free online dating site called Be2.net – Free Online Dating Community Site. You can log on for free, create a profile and chat even? It’s not like the other dating sites that charge you ala carte for each service. Charge you to view pictures, charge you to chat? What is that all about?

So, I decided to sign up and it is amazing. I get to meet people, screen them before I even meet them face-to-face. And it is not local – - this is global. I can meet people from Bulgarie, to China, to Germany and everywhere else! I am planning a trip to Brazil…so when I get there, I can hang out with people I already know online. If you’re down in the dumps, and think that there is no one for you – think again. Even friendships can be made through Be2.net – Free Online Dating Community Site. I’ll let you know in a few months how I fare out with this new site. Right now, I think it’s a good place to meet people and I will keep my FREE membership just in case.
